The Clayton Tribune
That's the name of the closest city's newspaper... this morning, while we were sitting around the office working, Chris began to read some choice clips from the Police Blotter. I thought I would share some of my favorites.
Police were called to Pizza Hut and the Welcome Center for a bear cub that was wandering around the area. The cub returned to the woods a short time later.
Tom Smith*, 53, of Oakwood, was arrested and charged with theft by taking.
A 25-year-old Mountain City woman reported that a 17-year-old girl walked into her residence on Rockdale Lane and slapped an 18-year-old man five times.
Police were called to Old Chechero Road for a verbal dispute in the middle of the road. An 18-year-old woman from Hopkinsville, KY had gotten into an argument with her 20-year-old husband after she bought shorts that he considered to be too small.
*Names have been changed.
Alrighty! That's all the news I've got for you today. Stay classy.
